The Beginning

At the start of the semester of third year, we are all briefed on what is to be expected on our possibly clients. Several options are given, such as working with The Beano, a scientist associated with the Edinburgh University, an artist and also a project working with the Glasgow Women's Library, searching for animators to animate a short about a suffragist. Due to a previously planned trip to Japan, I can not with any sense in me, work for the Beano given the strict timeline and various meetings with the client- I simply would not be there for it. However, although the GWL were more flexible, their project also sparked my interest, given my previous knowledge learning about the Suffragists and Suffragettes in High School. We are also promised the possibility of seeing 'archives' held within the library. That is definitely interesting...
